Exploring immunomodulators from Bangladeshi medicinal plants: Identification of lead compounds and derivatization by biomimetic oxidation system for inhibition of TLR4 receptor

The proposed study will identify potential immunomodulators form Bangladeshi medicinal plants for inhibition of TLR4 receptor to attain antiviral response and through the derivatization of active components by using dioxoruthenium (VI) tetraphenyl porphyrin based biomimetic oxidation system, further structure activity relationship studies leading to the identification of active pharmacophore is also possible. The study, therefore, can be largely pertinent in fulfilling the current search of immunomodulating agents and consequently, curing formidable diseases.
